Kashtin Nashacappo - Councillor

My name is Kashtin Nashacappo, and I am proud to serve as a Band Councillor for Yellow Quill First Nation. I was raised in my community, where I developed a strong connection to our culture, traditions, and values—foundations that continue to guide my work and leadership.

I graduated from Nawigizigweyas Education Centre in 2015, and I have remained committed to supporting the growth and well-being of our Nation. Growing up in Yellow Quill has given me a deep understanding of the strengths, challenges, and priorities of our people, and I carry that perspective into the decisions I make.

As a father of three children, I am motivated every day to help build a safe, healthy, and sustainable future for the next generation. I am committed to serving with integrity and making decisions that reflect the best interests of our community while honoring who we are as a people.

Warm regards,
Kashtin Nashacappo
Councillor of Yellow Quill First Nation
